Free End Interelinked Fingerweaving
[Z] Twist
Introduction:

[Z] twist is used to describe the orientation of the strands of yarn on the surface of the fabric produced with interlinked fingerweaving. The surface strands of interelinked fingerweaving have the same slant as the middle portion of the letter[Z].

[Z] twist interlinked fingerweaving uses two different headstick configurations. Each of the two headstick configurations can be woven from the left hand side to the right hand of the workpiece or from the right hand side to the left hand side of the workpiece. Combining the the two elements, the headstick configuration and the direction that the weave is worked, results in four different ways to start [Z] twist interlinked fingerweaving.
