Warpface Chevron Pattern Fingerweaving
[ Point Up ]

Warpface Chevron (point up)[YouTube]

Go to: Introducton

The point up chevron pattern is made by combining two diagonal patterns on opposite diagonals. One diagonal pattern is worked from the right side to the middle. The othe diagonal pattern is worked from the left side to the middle.

The point up chevron pattern is worked so that the point of the chevron is pointed toward the headstick.

To produce a chevron pattern, at least two colors of yarn are needed. Also, there must be an even number of yarn strands of each color.

The strands are cast on to the headstick so that the left and right sides of the work piece have bands of color that are mirror images of each other.

This tutorial will deal with a (point up) chevron pattern.
