This part of the tutorial will present the steps for weaving a 2 color arrowhead pattern where the colors remain on the same side.
The headstick configuration has one half the warp strands that form the arrowhead as one collor and the other half a second color. Weaving will start on the right side of the work-piece. The weft strands from the two sides meet at the middle where they become the middle warp strands. [NOTE] There are two basic formes of the two colored arrowhead:
In the other form the colors of the arrowheads stay on the same side. |

Pass the row 1 right side weft strand through the shed to the middle of the arrowhead warp strands.
Pass the weft strand through the shed to the middle. |

Form the interlock on the right hand side of the row 1 right side weft strand.

Reverse the row 1 right side shed.

Secure the row 1 right side weft strand.

Pass the left hand side row 1 weft strand to middle.

Form an interlock in row 2 right side weft strand.

Form the interlock with the weft strand and the warp strand that is next to the row 1 interlock. |

Pass the weft strand throught the shed to the middle of the work piece. |

Interlock the two weft strands.
When the interlock is formed the weft strands become the middle warp strand. Each warp strand is returned to the side it started on. |
