[Part 2] Left side start; first strand in bottom layer.

This part of the tutorial uses two sets of yarn strands that have different colors and an even number of strands.
The top layer of the shed is on the right to left diagonal.
The first strand on the left hand side is in the bottom layer of the shed.

Start Tutorial

Set up the head sticks. Then pick up the shed with the right hand.

Start weaving on the left hand side. Weave until there is one bottom yarn strand remaining in the left hand color band.

[OBSERVE] The last strand of the left hand color band and the first strand of the right and color band are both in the bottom layer of the shed.

Starts the interlock of the two color bands.

Reach under the last strand of the left hand color band (a bottom layer yarn strand).

Pick up the first top layer yarn strand of the right hand color band.

Pll the first right hand color top strand over the first right hand color bottom strand.

Then under the last left hand color bottom strand.

Transfer the strands to the left index finger.

The right hand side color yarn strand is placed over the left hand index finger.

The left hand side color yarn strand is placed under the left hand index finger.

Start the interlocking of the two color bands.

Use the right hand thumb and index finger to pick up the the first top right hand side color strand.

Place the last left hand side bottom strand over the left hand index finger.

Place the first right hand side top strand under the left hand index finger.

[NOTE]this completes the interlock of the two strands.
